Veterinarian
Dr. Seward is a lifelong resident of the area, graduating from Fairless High School in 1991. In 1997, he obtained his veterinary degree from The Ohio State University and was hired by Dr. Randall Stern to join him at Navarre Animal Clinic. In 2015, Dr. Seward purchased the practice. He sees both large and small animals and enjoys building relationships with his patients and their human families. Since 2014, he has served as the veterinarian for the Stark County Fair.
Outside of his veterinary work, Dr. Seward is married and has three daughters. He is active in the leadership and music ministry of Otterbein United Methodist Church and is a regular guest musician at St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Navarre. He has served on the Fairless Local Board of Education since 1998 and on the advisory committee for the Animal Science Program at R.G. Drage Career Center for ten years. He is a girls youth basketball coach. He has a flock of 40 purebred Montadale sheep ('the girls') and enjoys raising and showing them. The Seward house is also home to two dogs (Roxie-a nine year old Boston Terrier, Benny-a Shih Tzu born 6/17/19), three cats (Millie-15 year old domestic shorthair and grumpy old lady, Fred-5 year old Himalayan mix with special needs, and Ned-1 year old tiger and ball of energy), three fish, and several rabbits.
